Statement of Accounts 2011/12 – notice of public inspection

Our accounts are subject to external audit by the District Auditor and as per the requirements of the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2011 members of the public and local government electors have certain rights in the audit process; namely:

• inspect the accounts for the year ended 31st March 2012. The period of inspection is between the 17th July to 14th August 2012.
• from the 15th August until the conclusion of the audit, a local government elector for the Camden area may ask the auditor questions about the accounts.
• from the 15th August until the conclusion of the audit, a local government elector for the Camden area may object to the Council’s accounts.
